Presented by Wesley ‘in the city’ in association with the Folk Federation of Tasmania The traditional acoustic music session was initially set up by Terri Lukacko, an Appalchian- style fiddler who has since returned to the USA.?Ǭ† Come join us to play an eclectic mix of traditional Tasmanian, Australian, and old time American tunes, as well as jigs, reels, and waltzes from around the world in a round robin format. Music notation will be available to share, and some tunes may be played by ear. Musicians of all skill levels are invited to join in. Listeners are welcomed to bring their lunch and welcome to ask questions and chat with the musicians.

New appointment to the team at Wesley ‘in the city.’

Nigel McBrien from the Methodist Church in Ireland will be joining the team at Wesley ‘in the city.’?Ǭ† Nigel will work in this half time placement with our current minister David Parker in estabishing new forms of church and engaging with our community - with special focus on families and children. ?Ǭ†Nigel and his family are emergrating from Ireland and expect to join the team about April 1st 2009.

Music Together is a music therapy program for parents/care-givers and their pre-school aged children. Come and join our group.
